west Monroe has a diamond in the ruff in cam wright.he scorched Neville last week for 180 yards and ruston last night for over 300 all purpose yards.does any one know if lsu is looking at him.

His film looks good. He has good change of direction, good acceleration and good open field speed. From what I've seen his vision is good as well. Plus he is hard to bring down. I see no reason he shouldn't be a D1 prospect. I haven't seen enough film yet so IDK if he blocks well or catches well, but I like what I've seen. This may be a case of too many better backs on LSU's radar or he may be a late bloomer. Seems that if a player hasn't matured physically and football-wise by the time he's a soph in HS, LSU doesn't recruit. The numbers in this years class are high and there's a lot of RB's LSU is after. That list will dwindle if they lose today at Fla. LSU may even lose some commits if the offense doesn't put it together. Today we are seeing Ensmingers weaknesses exploited. These RB's are watching, bet that.

He does seem to run like he is pissed off. Even more impressive is that he has been a clutch 3rd down RB this year. My guess is that he has been overlooked somewhat since last year was the Slase Bolton show and he did not get as many touches. Glad to hear he has good grades.

Common misconception. Cam was actually the leading rusher last year in the regular season. He got a lot of touches since they ran RPO the majority of the time and he was the first option. He had 1300 yards and 21 touchdowns.
He’s a great kid and I hope he gets a legit look. I think he would be a great fit at Tech in their offense.
