A kid in our offense with our weapons would be off the charts scary.

There were a couple of deep throws that were WAY late and I thought "that is going to end up so underthrown" and then the ball just kept going and going lol. Kid has an absolute cannon.

Damn, that spin move at about the 3:50 mark...

Completely took his eyes off the field then reacquired his target in under a second and let it fly. That type of fast mental processing cannot be taught.

Wow

Holy shite what a nice juke move he has. He looks smooth as hell running the ball. He’s gonna bring Tiger Stadium down when he breaks off a long TD run. We’re not used to that.

Yall im still young so i havent seen a million kid's film like some of yall probably have but that is the most absurd shiite ive ever seen. Not being bias because LSU has a good shot but that kid will be incredible wherever he goes. Praying it works out for us. He has it all.

I upvoted, but his qb rating isn’t that high around 104. About 55% completion rate.

You’re not wrong on his accuracy. Lots of elite NFL QB’s have had subpar accuracy though. Not a huge deal if he can improve on it.

Is anyone else really unimpressed with his accuracy? How is he so highly

Yes me too. We’ll see how this goes. Not as much of a slam dunk to me as for others here. Impressive running ability and arm strength, but accuracy is what’s most important and you NEVER get a great feel on a quarterbacks accuracy, (for better or worse) on a highlight film. I could show you a highlight film of me shooting 3 pointers and you’d think I was the best ever....but it isn’t so.

Says he's 6'1"...

Any chance he gets to 6'3" ?

SEC has huge lineman...

he is shifty and seems to have a good arm...very fast, he out ran everyone every time

I am so used to seeing Burrow comfortable in the pocket...this kid looks a bit antsy in his highlights....with time that will improve

just my worthless observation

He looks like Cam Newton as a 20 year old if he was only 3-4 inches taller.

I want to see him throw timing routes and anticipate throws, then see how he looks. Throwing to slants and crossers are key in this offense.

Yeah except for the fact that Cam is like 6'5" and 260lbs... Williams is only like 6'1" 210.

BUT he is a 5 star number 1 rated DT QB, number 16 overall player showing great interest in LSU. Everybody keeps quoting 55% completion percentage as a cause for concern, yet no one has linked his junior year stats or where they came up with 55%. I listed in a post his and Nussmeier's sophomore completion percentage from 247. Both were 55%, with Williams a few 10th of a percentage points higher than Nussmeier. Is that what's being used as his completion percentage to question his talent, his sophomore stats? No one has linked his junior stats. Yet a number are bringing up 55% as an issue, which even if it is, I don't think is a basis to question his talent.

Can you link the completion percentage and the qb rating you quote? Thanks.
