On3
According to On3, it looks like we recruited him and we’re favored to land him at one point. He committed to Southern Miss. He seems like a decent player and we could probably use all the interior DL we could get in this class.

Did we not give him the green light to commit? Was there some other issue with him? If not, I would think he could be a take in this class. There aren’t many uncommitted DL left.

Also, I saw Rivals put Charleston Collins on “flip watch”. The article didn’t mention LSU, but instead Ohio State. I know we were really expecting to land him at one point. Is there any updated info on his recruitment?

Man I wish they could flip Collins.

I don't care what anyone says. They need to pick it up on the d line.

You live and die by your d line in the sec.

On the roster now we have 17 DT, DE and Jack position players. Depends on down and distance, they are your guys. Only 3 are Sr’s. How many you think you need. It’s been known, Kelly knows more about roster management than anyone. He took over a cluster, built a roster from the minimum. I don’t understand how people still question his management of a roster.

We’re losing Maason Smith for sure, and we’ll probably lose Wingo and Jefferson as well. Guillory is more likely to stay. That would leave us with him, West, Hill, Langston, and Shand inside.

How well did this guy do, transferred in from Missouri. With the loss of Smith early, a vital cog on the line. He had a connection, he was coached in high school by LSU cornerbacks coach Robert Steeples. An yes, another good season, he will be leaving.
