Don’t know if it’s been mentioned but with the new rankings update On3 has

Joshua Mickens - Indianapolis, IN
EDGE 6-3 220lbs
#31 overall - composite #114

Darron Reed - Columbus, GA
DL 6-3.5 282lbs
#37 overall - composite #180

Dashawn Womack - Baltimore, MD
EDGE 6-4 245lbs
#53 overall - composite #87

Jaxon Howard - Minneapolis, MN
EDGE 6-4 245
#207 overall - composite #107

What is funny is that we’ve been hearing a bunch of buzz about Womack dominating at the last camp but he’s the third player on this list of On3’s top overall players

Our highest ranked Dline commit until this last update Howard is 4th on this list

And with Mickens and Reed being ranked 5 stars and borderline 5 stars respectively this is just an absolute nasty Dline!

I will be interested to see how these rankings play out until ESD (NSD?) but either way it looks like Cain has absolutely crushed it and is bringing to this great university of LSU a fierce and nasty Dline for which it has always been known!!

Geaux Tigers!

Edit - also who is y’all’s pick for best out of the group?

Stupid awesome DL is an understatement for them. And we still got a decent shot at Nyckoles Harbor.

I think he’s looking to play offense which I’m not mad at and actually helps us in recruiting cause no one knows TEs better than CBK. Would be a dynamic weapon at TE with his size/speed combo.

Didn't even know he played TE, but would be awesome to get him regardless of position.

Guess I don't follow recruiting as much as I used to.

May run track, at his size he is trying to break his own personal best in the 100m which is 10.28, he said he’s working hard for a sub 10.2 which is crazy stupid for his size. He’s a MANCHILD

He actually plays WR but his measurables project him at TE long term. However, he’s more than athletic enough to play WR at the next level.

Imagine a defense having to account for Jalen Brown, Shelton Sampson and Harbor all at the same time. Someone’s getting wide open every play.

If we can keep the current guys and add 2-3 more, we’ll be in great shape. This has to be a big class for depth in 2023. Dipping into the portal again is likely.

If LSU pulls Harbor at TE it’ll solidify Kelly’s decision to come to LSU. He’s able to pull a different type of athlete.

He may well be able to recruit certain positions - QB, WR and CB in particular - at a higher level than he was able to at Notre Dame but I'm not sure TE is a good position to try to use as an example of this.

As well as a 5 star like Michael Mayer, likely the top TE drafted next April, virtually all the TE's in his time at ND make it to the NFL. TE, and OL, are the two positions ND has always found the easiest to get top talent at.

ND currently has the 14th ranked TE committed and LSU has the 10th ranked TE. Denbrock historically likes to use his TEs so one productive season for LSU's TEs under the current staff and I have no doubt LSU will become a prime landing spot for top TE talent.

DT ... A'mauri Washington out of Arizona looks really good to me! Would love to have him as part of the class.
