If LSU loses Bates it wont be to A&M (IMO), looks like UTe is the team that’s pushing hard for him to flip. A&M is in panic mode tryin to stave off commits flipping TO LSU from Aggie.

Yep. Hoping for Kentucky romp over the Vols regardless, but it helps for them to crash and burn.

I'd really hate to lose Bates. I think he could be a cornerstone for turning around our DB play.

Hopefully he attends the yell crap they do at night. He will be ready to leave. Lol

I wonder if the recruiting staff actually keeps recruits as far away from that shite as they can during the visit.

I feel like with all the positive news last night from shea on him being all lsu that this may be like tovianos visit last year. The staff knows he's going and maybe encouraged him to talk to others that may be thinking about lsu.

Bet ya a million dollars BK has another possible better CB lined up to visit or commit. I want players who WANT to play here.

I have a feeling this is one of those where aggies threw him 5K just to visit to counter LSU taking their commits. If so it screams of desperation.

UT and the Florida schools are the ones pushing hardest according to Shea and Billy.

Bingo

If this was tennessee or a Florida school, even UGA or Alabama, it should give you pause. Not Texas AM.

Don’t be surprised if Aggys start throwing money around at LSU targets. I’m sure their boosters aren’t happy about all of the momentum going our way.

That’s not any different than what they’ve been doing. What IS different is that these recruits are finally starting to see the losing trend in A&M.

I just watched his mid SR season highlights. He looks really tall and maybe a bit stiff, not as much twitch. He may be a better safety prospect than CB. I'm no scout so I could be completely off.

To be clear I am no insider, btw. Just seems like if we were really in trouble of losing him it wouldn't be to atm and if steeples met with him yesterday and Shea says all is good then you would have to think the staff was already well aware he was visiting atm today.

Like most people have said this feels like desperate retaliation attempt from atm after the flip the other night. Unless some real smoke about his visit comes up I am not panicking

We should all hope that Jimbo stays at A&M.
