Is it him or bust this year? I know the class is deep in Louisiana in 2025. But are there any other RB they want in the 2024 class?

Yes that is what they're saying. Side note great for Kedren getting to Notre Dame.

I think this is a terrible strategy. The running game has been been “functional at best” for several seasons, with our QB being the biggest rushing threat last year…which is never great. Just because there are guys in the pipeline doesn’t mean that you accept two more seasons of meh.

Yes with the way the game is going all the best teams are going back to ground and pound and you need special rbs and a dominant online to do that.

You have Kaleb Jackson coming in as well from the last class and you next summer you can hit the portal for an experienced back just like you did with Logan Diggs and you take 2-3 game changers in the next class. Berry and Simon. There's no reason to have 10 running backs on the team

Worked with LF7

Who was the Texas RB people on here were pushing so hard for the year before Leonard? Whatever happened to him?

You do that, top 5 back in the nation against great competition and basically doing it on his on.

I like Kaleb jackson tbh great speed and size combination. Only knock is staying healthy and him not playing against elite competition.

Fournette was on another level then any rb in this debate he was the best back in the state four years straight. Once in 10 years type back I always wanted him over anybody from TX to Tanzania. I really bama was gonna get him.

Liberty Magnet had a challenging schedule: Catholic BR, Zachary, Denham Springs, Woodlawn-BR, Scotlandville, Southern Lab

Leonard was class of 2014.
LSU didn't sign a RB in 2013.
Keith Ford (Cy Ranch) was the #1RB out of TX, and #4 overall RB recruit in '13.
He signed with OU and transferred to A&M. No offer from LSU.

Katy Rb are almost always overated, the system is set up for them to succeed. All those so called great rb to come there most of them didn't do anything in college

Looks like 2024 is deep and someone (1 or 2) will come on strong enough to be a bell cow.

RB
Josh Williams sr
Armoni Goodwin sr
Logan Diggs Jr
Tre Bradford Jr
Kaleb Jackson so
Trey Holly so

Then, enter 2025 class and you’ll have two or three very good local Rb added.
