He would be going there to be an LSU receiver from 2009-2018.

So he's going to the NFL?

Seriously, if I am that kid's parent and a coach comes into my house and tells my kid where he can and cannot visit, I would show that coach the door. I think this is bullshite.

Which makes the earlier comments laughable about how him last minute visiting Georgia was "great" for us

I know every fan base accuses the other of paying recruits, but Georgia would have to back up two Brinks trucks to get Burch this late in the game

Everything I’ve heard for the last three months about this kid was it was either us, Clemson, or South Carolina. That’s what most everybody was saying the entire time. He was gonna use this OV somewhere this weekend, and based on what I heard UGA seemed like the least worrying visit. Maybe that was false hope.

Burch has only been there since this morning, let's let the weekend play out...

Ask yourself which of the following is more likely -

1. Burch is secretly committed to LSU and will follow the directions of our coaching staff as to whether or not he can take another visit. He really wants to, but the coaches don't want him visiting South Carolina or Clemson, so they come to a compromise and the coaches give him permission to visit Georgia this weekend just for fun.

Or...

2. The kid is undecided and is visiting a school this weekend that has been recruiting him from the beginning.

It shouldn't take you long to figure out which of these scenarios is plausible.

Correct. Burch hasn't talked to the media in months. It's one of the most hushed recruitments out there. Every insider, everywhere, has said this. No one knows just like Gilbert or Evans quite honestly. It's just people guessing, including so called sources. Some of these kids families and coaches, which account for 90% of all insiders sources, don't know where these kids are going for sure. They just essentially starting and spreading rumors . Somewhat more educated rumors but rumors nonetheless.

Which one do you think is more likely? I'll choose the other option.

This is ridiculous. Weren’t they a fluke play away from winning the natty two years ago and should have been in the playoff last year and in the SEC CG this year with an opportunity to get in the CFP? They’ve been more of a serious contender over the last 3-4 years than LSU has been.

No they haven’t. They couldn’t get over the Bama hump the last 3-4 years any better than we could. They just had the benefit of playing them in either the SECCG or the playoffs. Had Georgia been in the West, they are a two loss team at best the past 3-4 years.

How is it ridiculous? Dabo doesn’t let his commits visit anywhere. If he is a silent commit, this makes sense. Of course, we don’t know that he is a silent commit.

More importantlY, doesn’t that UGA table look like someone threw that together at the last minute? Handwritten welcome placards and some random pamphlets?
