This line of thinking is like saying someone should work for a shittier company because working for the best company is taking the easy way out. That's dumb.

If I get hired by the "better" company I have a specific job waiting for me and I better hit the ground running...these kids "think" that is the case for them so the turn down immediate playing time at a great opportunity school like LSU just to potentially never see the field at Bama...

Totally different scenario.

EXACTLY!!! This is another lame excuse just like Moses and Narcisse. If you want to go to Bama then go, but stop with these idiotic excuses.

I think Buggs was just referring to his lead recruiter not being replaced, but I'm sure he still had a relationship with O because of his position, so it is a cop out.

Narcisse has a legitimate reason to wonder about his place here. We don't have an OC and O obviously hasn't sold him on what's happening. The situations with him and Buggs aren't the same.

LSU is quietly pulling in an elite class. And yet the narrative demands that "this class is a disaster" because Alabama is cherry-picking whoever it wants right out of our back yard. We are recruiting great and get raped by Alabama. It's going to take some thick skin to get through NSD without having a coronary or getting banned. Humility is required.

This year is pretty nuts. If you had told me two years ago we would fire Miles and lose all but a couple of the top in-state guys, I would have expected a class ranked somewhere in the 30s. To be Top 5 while all this shite is happening at the same time is unique, to say the least.

Rankings aside, it really sucks a to see Saban pull this many great LA recruits in one year. He's gotten several over the years, but he's never pulled this off before.

I never thought LSU was ever in serious consideration for him. It was just a game to exhaust all he could in the recruiting game.
All of these young players do it and who could blame them for the attention and traveling they get during the process before making a commitment.

I have confidence that LSU will still pull in a great class. Schools lose recruits every year. This is nothing new. Let's focus our energy on the class we have and bringing them in with class. We have a really good class coming and talent left. It's about what the coaching can pull out the hat. And there will be some surprise recruits also.

I would just hate to walk around Ruston knowing that 90% of Rustonites think I am a traitor to the state, to my school, and to my classmates. I would not like that feeling at all.

Now this was a dumb statement! Everyone in Ruston is proud of this young man. The school you are attending doesn't have anything to do with the person you are. Everyone here wants to see him move on to bigger and better things, even if it means go through Bama to get it

Prozac, please for many on this board. If LSU won a champuinsip you would still be complaining. As a matter of fact, many of Tiger fans did after the 2007 BCS Title was won by LSU.

I see a bunch of people who have never played much football who think they know more than thd coaches and can not find any happiness. It's almost like this site should shut down for a period of time because you all are making it a toxic waste dump

Did Nick reassure him that he would be a starter even if he is arrested for weed and guns?

You appear to be way more pissed off about it than I am.
I was just saying it's ridiculous how they easily pull all these recruits, didn't really sensationalize anything like you did. I don't need you to be my hero. Thanks though keep preaching.
