Figured he would. By all accounts he wanted to be at UNC, he just wanted to make sure they didn't completely screw up the hire. All good though, we'll have to bring a portal QB after next season to compete with Hurley, and we'll need some depth too, so probably try to get a '26 recruit, then all eyes are on '27.

Now the question is do we take a QB this cycle or wait to the transfer portal next year to find someone to complete for the Job in 2026.

I think you probably see what's out there, but it's not an immediate need. If you come out of spring and don't like Hurley's progression, you find one that transfers late.

Wait until the spring and take one of Ohio States guys, either Noland or Sayin. They both aren't staying.
