I've been hearing about him since the 8th grade and now he is not even generating much interest at all as a football or hoops prospect.

He stopped growing. Now he is a 6'5 (at best) out of shape post player. Won't play anything but WR in football. Wouldn't be shocked to see him come off bench at Scotlandville this year.

Basketball started getting in the running for better players. I think people were also concerned whether he would play basketball or football or try to play both. Not totally sure though.

this has been beat to death on here, but as i have said many times, he's undersized for the position he plays. He'd be better off playing TE in football like Antonio Gates.

He transferred to Scotlandville and is likely trying to develop his game at more a SF position instead being a Center/PF at Episcopal.

Happens all the time with basketball recruits. Can't really predict height growth and how skilled the kids will be years down the road.

I think he is still a legit D1 recruit, but he will have to play his way back up the rankings.

Scotlandville is at the Thanksgiving Hoopfest in Duncanville, Texas later this month. That should be a great opportunity to make a splash for him. Julius Randle (ESPN #3), Jarrell Martin and Madison Prep Prime Prep with Karviar Sheppard and some other "name" players will play in the tournament.

Additon:

LSU commit Jordan Mickey can play, but Sheppard is ineligible to play at Prime Prep.
