As much as this kid has changed his mind it would not surprise me to see him sign with LSU. I hope he does. He has alot of potential if he can keep his grades in order.

What are you shaking your head at?

Can you please tell me where you are seeing this info that he was given a full offer?

Does he go to school someone other than where his coach works, and does he live somewhere other than with his family?

Did the discussion possibly include options LSU gave him whether or not he qualified?

I don't know any of these answers, and neither do you. But, I do know that info related to this subject from the LSU side has been non-existant.

LSU would have loved to have him, but no biggie losing him accept for keeping a good LA player home.

Pretty biggie if we lose out on a guy from Destrehan we wanted.

If his coach pushed him to Bama he seriously needs a reality check here. Destrehan has 3 kids at LSU right now including our starting QB. He needs to re-think his actions if he is truly pushing him to a hated rival's way.

Hold up.........so every coach in Louisiana is susposed to be an LSU fan and tell their kids that LSU is the only place they need to be, regardless if it might be the best for their career or it is where deep down in their heart they feel that they need to be ? You're saying all Louisiana head football coaches are susposed recruiters for LSU now ?

Destrehan has become a feeder school to LSU. We have Jai Eugene, Jordan Jefferson and Tim Molton from there currently. We do not lose out on guys we want from there. Yes he is supposed to be pushing his kids to LSU ESPECIALLY if they are LSU fans and have an LSU offer. Absolute bullshite (if true) he's pushing him to go with an SEC West rival when he has an LSU offer on the table now. What's the point of in-state guys giving us an advantage if the coach is pushing them away even when they're LSU fans?

Les needs to get on the phone with Destrehan's HC and fix this crap.

I think Sam Montgomery has a better upside seeing as he has only been playing organized football 3 years IMO.

Seems to me if you've been a lifelong fan of an institution and you get the chance to fulfill the dream of playing for that institution, then you don't refuse the offer. You only go around once in life. This is the chance of a lifetime and I just can't understand his refusing to fulfill his dream of being a Tiger.
