does he hold a committable offer from us or are we running out of numbers? for those who have seen him play, whats his best position? just haven't seen him talked about much on the board.

I'm not an expert but LSU would have to miss on more than a few if he makes this team.

Our LB board is pretty stacked in potential so like someone else said there'd probably have to be a few whiffs.

Phillip Webb, BJ Ojulari, Donnell Harris and Damian Sellers are all above him on the board

Ok. So LB is his position. Got it. We’re still battling auburn for Webb. He plays about 15 mins from my house. Still trying to get a little info from some coaches I know in this area.

What does the kid say or been saying?
Its hard for me to imagine him wanting to be here if he holds an offer.

hard to evaluate newman players sometimes
even Eli had some doubters, it was pretty much a given he was going play for Cutcliffe but I don't think he was high on Saban's board at the time
Even Beckham, it took awhile for LSU to finally pull the trigger with Miami being the other primary suitor

This dude looks legit. I wouldn't mind him being a part of our class. Seems quick off the corner and is relentless to the ball!

I understand others are high on the board, but this kid is putting it together and his athletic measurables are maturing and impressive. I would hope the coaches are at least keeping a close eye on him.
