Wonder how long he'll fend off K. Murray.

"his receivers are terrible"

You are joking right? #7 is a Louisiana Tech commit and #2 is being recruited by several D1 schools...there were a couple drops but it is the first live game situation and they're PLENTY of great plays last night

That's sad some people watch a couple mins of tape and they think they know it all

#7 Broderick Jefferson is an awesome receiver! I wish he were a few inches taller and he would be right up there with some of the best in the country. It looks like we have a new TE #40 who made some good catches too. League City, who is #4. He made some outstanding plays. Very fast and elusive. He should see some playing time this year for sure! I have never been so excited for a High School season to start as the one coming up. Parkway has a lot of seniors returning and should really be good!

#4 is Tre Normandin. Still a freshman. He is a special player and will be a big time player for Panthers before his career is over.

Yeah while watching it seemed like he should have been getting a few offers after all this sudden rush of Brandon Harris coverage.

from da aggie 247 board:

quote:

Ollie North said...

I was just making a comment on previous info that was out and not discussed recently, not really suggesting anything based on your info as of late.

My interpretation of your comments leads me to believe his best business decision at this point is A&M, he knows it and for the most part his family does too (the uncles anyway).

However, and it's a big however, LSU's pull in the state is almost inescapable at times. That factor along with LSU being a childhood favorite and an unproven Cam Cameron may be too much to overcome in the end.

**found this interesting that I'll add:

On January 23, 2008 Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh announced Cam Cameron as the Ravens’ new offensive coordinator.[9] Following a loss to the Washington Redskins in Week 14 of the 2012 NFL Season, Cameron was released by the Ravens and replaced by Jim Caldwell.[10]

After Cameron's firing, the Ravens went on to win Super Bowl XLVII against the San Francisco 49ers. Despite being fired as offensive coordinator after week 14, head coach of the Ravens John Harbaugh stated that Cameron deserves and will receive a Super Bowl ring, having helped the team for a majority of the season to get to the playoffs.[11]

***Hell that's like Dino Babers getting credit when Sumlin beat OU as the OC. I hope that guy doesn't actually walk around with that ring on his finger or brag about it to anyone.

So coach I heard you have a Super Bowl ring, what was it like to coach in a big game like that? "Well it's complicated....."

quote:

Yeah, who would want to go to an unproven guy that tutored Drew Brees and Joe Flacco and has had offenses lead the NFL in scoring when you can have your plays called by the former running backs coach of some U of Houston teams that finished 3rd in C-USA and has one game of career playcalling under his belt.

If he goes to LSU, it will clearly be because of the death threats to his family.

Agreeed.

I see nothing in this film that says he is any better than Kizer or Rudolph....

That was one bad defense he was throwing against, However I will trust Cams judgement.
