He was. We'll have to see how he comes back after his knee injury. His mobility was a huge part of his game.

Prescott is better than Harris

Most talented since RP but RP was also significantly more talented.
I think RP may have physically matured more quickly. BH will most likely have a better upside in retrospect.

Gtfo! Harris>>>>>Prescott. Prescott needs to scramble to be effective not Harris

Have you actually watched Harris play?

Brock Berlin was a beast for Evangel.

Ended up being a decent college QB in 2004

quote:This. And BH is going to have the benefit of working with CCC. Harris has a strong arm and good touch on the ball. High character guy that seems like He's going to be a film room nerd. Has a very high ceiling. Needs to work on mechanics a bit, but he seems to have the right mentality to be as good as he wants to be. #Excited

Maybe now but give Harris a little time in the LSU camp. He'll be a much better passing QB

I've seen both play as Seniors in HS. If I was gonna compare their Senior seasons, Harris has better accuracy, timing and decision making. Prescott was a lot harder to bring down, Brandon is faster but needs to add some muscle weight. Arm is about the same.

Main thing i like about BH is how humble he is and how well he can put things in perspective. Most athletes in his position would just go with the flow of the process and wait their turn to step up for the team. BH isnt settling for anything and he realizes the position he is in, so this kid WILL work his arse off and become a film room nerd like one of you said earlier. Like I said, he has the work ethic and maturity beyond his years and it will be fun as hell to watch a kid from my hometown tear it up on Saturdays in Tiger Stadium. For a guy like CC to rave over a highschool kid like he did shows me that the physical ability is there. Actually, it's more than just "there" if you have an NFL quarterback guru just impressed at the very least. And although I dont have the info on Anthony Jennings that I do Brandon, I get the same impression from ole AJ.
Also, I'm a very spoiled fan becauseof our success as of the past decade, but I feel like if we can get 9 wins in the regular season and bump it to 10 with a bowl win, I would consider that a success. I never thought I would say that but if we can get a 10 win season with a first year starting qb, a couple freshman rb's (& Magee), a stable of freshman wr's, losing our stud LT, & losing our beastly fullback (who I will miss dearly and never forget). That's quite a load of talent to replace! I might have been wrong on one of those guys pz forgive me. But if we can squeeze 10 wins out of next season you have to feel good about that. Then, the 2015 season is our year. AJ, LF, Sione, Quinn, Chi, & Speedy will all have a season under their belts, PRIMED TO KICK arse. Along with that defense that is just quietly stackin' 4 & 5 star talent AT EVERY MUTHAFUKKIN POSITION (Unless we allow our genius coaching staff to pluck those "diamonds in the rough" 3 stars and lower ranked 4 stars (Rashard Robinson, John Battle) Please get it how you live.
So just be patient my fellow LSU Tiger fans, we have the talent and we have the coaches. A national championship is only 1 or a couple years away.

Btw, read Belton had his knee done by James Andrews and will be back extremely fast.

That is great to hear about Belton! Great kid and first class family!
Brandon Harris has all of the tools to be great! I have no doubt that he will get better under Coach Cameron.
As far as next year, no matter who the quarterback is, there is going to be a learning curve and some growing pains that we will all have to be patient with!
