It looks like Harris loves all the schools. Here is his quote re: TAMU before he even visited them:
quote:

"I thought Kyle Allen committing to Texas A&M was fantastic," Harris said. "I was very interested. They were my favorite school going into this whole process. I was looking forward to going to Texas A&M this weekend and seeing what they had to offer.

His comments following LSU's picnic over the weekend:
quote:

Harris spent last week visiting LSU for its annual Bayou Picnic before traveling to Alabama and then to Ohio State where he also took part in the regional Elite 11 quarterback competition in Columbus, Ohio but did not advance. "I thought it went well," Harris said of LSU's event. "They showed me a boat load of attention. I really enjoyed it. I really like the direction LSU's program is headed. With the hiring of (offensive coordinator) Coach (Cam) Cameron they're headed back down the road to win national championships and more SEC titles."

Another quote re: LSU:
quote:

"LSU stands just as well as everyone else," Harris said. "I love the program. I love (Head) Coach (Les) Miles and Coach Cameron. They're fantastic guys and that whole staff is fantastic. I think every single place is a great fit. LSU is an excellent fit."

Sounds like he loves LSU, but also loves Alabama, Ohio State, and Auburn also (even before visiting them).

This dude's recruitment is so weird and unpredictable IMO.

This season on the field will be huge for us. We really need a great showing. I think we just have to prove that we have fixed our offensive issues and that we are definitely headed in the right direction.

Playing in a big game in January will give us a chance to make one of the last impressions on all of these kids.

he seems more "kid in a candy store" and a little naive(I mean more like inexperienced with the world). He gets to go to all these places with great facilities and coaches buttering him up. He seems like he is very excited in just the awe of it all, the shine, etc. That's why I believe he likes every school, and any school probably has an equal chance of landing him.

He's almost like a fan just in awe of all the glitter and glam that is college footballl. He seems very excited and up beat. I think he'd be a great addition to any locker room, but hopefully it's ours.

Probably bugs me more than it should. But everyone forgets 9-6.

That whole situation from 2011 bugs me. Lsu goes unbeaten winning the sec, while beating the PAC-10 and rose champ, big east and orange bowl champ on top of the sec gauntlet and have to play bama again. Bama never plays anyone from the east, gets rematches every year and takes advantage of the undeserved credit they continually get.

AJ mcarron has never led an unbeaten team. Harris continually spews diarrhea from his mouth through this process. He's been off base and completely wrong about a number of things.

He should have talked to Manziel to get pointers on how he beat Bama.

Lsu record vs bama since 2000:

8-4 legitimately

Also, lsu has 4 sec titles
How many does a&m have in the same time span?

It really doesn't matter if we lose Harris. I doubt he would beat out AJ anyway.

The man.

I've never been one to bash a recruit so I hate to say that I agree with you...

He likes the direction of the LSU program? wtf, that's something you say about Hugh Freeze and Ole Miss. LSU was in the national championship 2 years ago, Les has a ring already, and he's talking like LSU is an up and comer

LSU gives him a come to camp offer and he gets offended, Bama gives him a come to camp offer and that's quite alright because Saban is completely unique in how he evaluates QB's.

Maybe he's just a people pleaser and tries to say the right things at all times but doesn't quite have the communication skills to pull it off yet. He'll grow into that, if that's his MO. But the way his recruitment has gone thus far I'm just pretty...meh. Seems to be the type of kid that is in for a big, big reality check when he steps onto the campus of a major football program. I still hope it's for LSU if our coaches want him, but if not, next man up. If Cam Cameron is as good as people hope, QB recruiting will be fine going forward.

Good thing we still have a whole season before nsd. Beat bama in tuscaloosa, then beat them again in pasadena.

Either way, if we get one out of harris, kizer, or rudolph. We will be fine.

Rarely do guys who play in such HS systems perform well as SEC QB's...That shotgun and smurf thing DOES NOT develop a QB. I am skeptical.

That's easy, make Bama's Defense play 85 plays against a physical Offense the week before.
How about he talk to Mettenberger to get pointers on how to beat A&M?

Thats pretty much it. Swap the games and bama prob gies undefeated. We played 3 of the top sec teams while bama played 1 by that weekend.

I know, win all ur games, but UF game was when we had the most people out. We had 3 olinemen play their first sec snaps ever.

I think to much is being read into all this. Harris hasn't been heavily recruited for 2-3 yrs like some guys. His recruitment has recently blown up so naturally he's going to be somewhat overwhelmed/flattered IMO. As a QB that wants to learn from one of the best what other school has an OC that's tutored 2 super bowl champions and 3 pro bowl QBs?
