Uhh, yeah its a fact on everything that he was never officially committed to LSU at any time.

He was not "officially" to either at the time of his announcement. It was widely believed to be between Bama and LSU.
"In the fourth quarter of the game, with Collins' family and friends crowded around him on a makeshift stage, ESPN's Dari Nowkhah asked the 18-year-old senior what school he would attend; he had narrowed the choice to LSU and Alabama. Nervous, excited, Collins drawled out an "I'm gonna go 'Roll Tide, Roll."
Considering his Mothers now famous reaction, i would think the decision was still up in the air.
Whatever.

Bottom line, kids change their minds. It's nice, but I always feel better when the signed paper is in the office.

Wtf?
I thought 4.0 was highest you could get.

Yeah, but this kid is actually committed publicly, landon collins never did. Its different and its a bad example bro. Felipe Franks would have been a better example.

He's committed to LSU as of now.... until Saban wants him and he visits BAMA.....

Landon Collins said he made his choice to bama after they beat Florida in prime time in the month of October. He acted like he didn't know where he was going until the announcement and momma April put on a big show to get attention and acted like a lsu fan. What her dumbass didn't realize was for his birthday cake or announcement cake earlier that day she posted a video of herself showing Landon his cake with Alabama on it and posted it on her YouTube page. Not a lot of people saw that video and when some did she hurried and deleted the video from her page.

The timing of this is more intersting than the committment itslelf IMO.

That's bs too. My son went to school with Collins and knew he was messing with LSU

Per Shea Dixon on Culotta and the fan:
Damone Clark was the best linebacker at the army all america combine. We can expect him to get a bump in the rankings.

Thank you! That's the one I was trying to remember.
AND ... you made my point. Excited to have a commit, but not popping he champagne until the signed paper is in the office.
I hope we get them ALL!

This video is much better than the ones put out by ULL football players. Does LSU recruit better class of athletes. Hopefully so, or is it just that HUDSPEDT is the problem. I think so. I'm glad we have a quality human who can play a little football and is superior in the class room. I'm so proud for this young man to chose LSU.

Why in the world are you bringing up ULL and Mark Hudspeth?

AP/Honors courses A grades are above the 4.0 scale.
