Rosenthal isn't playing NG. Alexander, Shelvin, Livingston, Hines will all likely play nose unless Hines gets moved to offense. Shelvin could be moved around a bit because he's so quick and athletic. Fehoko is stout but a little light at 298 compared to these 330+ kids.

I think Rosenthal be a DE or OT. He reminds me a bit of Marquise Hill.

Every signing day I look for guys 270 and above regardless of position to see how we did in the trenches. This year won't disappoint.

Aranda switches between 3-4 and 4-3 so I can see games vs heavy run offenses that we go 4-3 and put 2 NT/DT guys in the middle and rotate the other 2 in. OLs typically wear down DLs, but we could do the opposite and wear down an opposing OL.

Finally a coaching staff building the program in the right way. We have lost games with more talented playmakers then anyone we had played. You so win games in trenches with the big uglies. Like the way staff is not being swayed by the stars also. Let's get the big thick kids far cry from the past.

I agree Bayou Cowboy, but I think Aranda prefers 3-4. Has had to use more 4-3 than he may like first 2 years due to roster limitations.

He is multiple though obviously. If 4-3 suits opponent better I'm sure he'd do it.

His offer list isn’t too exciting. Gotta trust the staff

other players to make plays.

We already know that Lawrence requires 2 blockers. Everything I've heard about Fehoko tells me that he will also require 2 blockers. I suspect that Aranda's very excited about next year's D. With Alexander & Shelvin at NT, next year will be the first when we have the right type players (and depth) for the 3-4. When the OL is forced to DT 2-3 players, it's not a good situation for the offense.

Devin White should have been an AA THIS year. When you see him running around during a game, it's mind-blowing that he weighs ~250lbs. There's a reason why Nick Saban took a special interest in DW.

With Alexander(339), Shelvin (360) and Livingston (340) we have some massive dudes on the DL to go with Lawrence and others.

Yea, it was Cody. I had to go back and look at their roster. He played in the Canadian League for a year or two. But, Livingston is way more mobile than Cody. Livingston reminds me of Travanta Valentine (however his name is spelled). I mean in their size and mobility and strength. Valentine would of been a beast in college. By the way, has anyone seen much of Glenn Beal play? I watched Curtis in the state final today and I don't think J.T. targeted him on any pass plays. I watched a little bit of video and he looked athletic, just didn't see much today. IDK if he's injured or what. One of the announcers said he was a LSU commit, I haven't seen that anywhere either.

Although big, he does a good job of getting rid of the blocker, finding the ball, and moving laterally to make the tackle. Looks like there are lots of good resources in him for the staff to work with.
