Pretty sure we all knew it was him but finally official. Gaye seems to have a lot of potential, very raw and athletic for his size. Can’t teach 6’6 270 with that athleticism! Hopefully O and Meatball can turn this kid into a polished freak of nature. Has all the measurables.

Only has 2 years to play 2.... so to me taking him you would expect immediate contribution... like an Isaiah Buggs....however his numbers are pretty meh in JUCO to this point...so he must've wowed coaches with athleticism and they think they can make it work

I hope I’m wrong on this one, but I don’t like Gaye taking up a spot in this class that needs elite DL. I trust the coaches though because they know a lot more than me and everyone else on this board.

They are saying 2 to play 2 right now until further confirmation on when he actually first enrolled in a college, 2017 or 2018.

I hate to bag on the services but none of them put any real concerted effort into ranking JUCO players for football or basketball. It's way different than the high school kids (attention wise).

Badara Traore was a 4-star JUCO player. On 247 they have a JUCO rating as well as a HS rating.

Another Shawn Knight situation? Unless they thinking of switching him to oline. IDK, why take a project at this point who only has 2 years? His HS film looked pretty good and he was a Washington commit. We will see. Feels like they lost confidence in some other big fish to make this move right now.

A good lot of them do, but not everyone, it's more of a half effort there vs. high school kids.
A lot of times a JUCO kid commits, isnt ranked, the fanbase complains enough on the forum they arent ranked, then BOOM, they get ranked the next day
