Bleacher Report says Stanford's K.J. Costello possible QB replacement for Burrow

He was a 4-star recruit and No. 3 pro style passer in 2016. Stats look good, but apparently injuries sidelined him. Does anyone know if we are seriously looking at him to possibly come in? I know Brennan is next in line to take over at QB, but O has made it clear he's always looking to improve the team. I'm not saying he's better than Brennan but he does have real game experience.

Nothing against LSU backups to Brennan, but none with any experience. Would be nice to have an experienced QB if only as backup in case Brennan is injured.

this all depends on whether we sign 25 or less.

At some point soon, LSU needs to begin growing its OWN cycle of SEC caliber QBs. We can’t keep stringing along a kid like Brennan and then bringing in an OOC QB transfer. In order for top QBs out of HS to begin wanting to sign with LSU, our OC, QBs coaching staff needs to develop those that sign with us out of HS. Gone are the days of Mauck, Mettenberger, and Burrow. We need OUR high school picks to develop

Well you're stupid. As far as news and info goes BR is as good as most out there. Their draft scouts as well as high school scouts are pretty decent too.
