After taking suggestions and doing my own research, I have finally completed the 64-video field and it is a good one.

Here is the bracket just to see the matchups:

Bracket

A few things before we start:

1. On the seeding, the videos that received multiple votes throughout the boards were placed with the higher seeds. Outside of the top 3 seeds, I randomized all the others and tried giving those top 3 seeds the easiest first-round matchups like they are in real life. All of the middle seeds are not how I would rank them, just how they came out in the randomizer.

2. PLEASE watch all of the videos before voting on the matchups. Obviously some of these films are 10-15 minutes long so you don't have to watch the whole thing, but just watch enough to get the gist of the recruits.

and MOST important:

3. PLEASE DO NOT SHOW TEAM/RECRUIT BIAS. I know it may be difficult for an LSU fan to vote a Bama player and vice versa, but we are voting on who you think has the best video.

Okay, on to the matchups:

Division 1:

Reggie Bush vs. Tate Forcier
Terrelle Pryor vs. Dorial Green-Beckham
Jarvis Landry vs. Lache Seastrunk
James Wilder Jr. vs. James Vaughters
Cedric Benson vs. Devin Hester
Joe McKnight vs. JaMarcus Russell
Vontaze Burfict vs. Trey Williams
Tray Blackmon vs. Thomas Tyner

Division 2:

Russell Sheppard vs. Jermauria Rasco
Teddy Bridgewater vs. Bryce Brown
Devon Kennard vs. Speedy Noil
Tavon Austin vs. Ricky Williams
Landon Collins vs. Vince Young
J.C. Copeland vs. Venric Mark
Jeff Luc vs. Ernie Sims
Adrian Peterson vs. (White) Chris Johnson

In terms of how to vote, you can just list who moves on, or to be easier for me, bold which video you choose like this:

Reggie Bush vs. Tate Forcier
Terrelle Pryor vs. Dorial Green-Beckham
Jarvis Landry vs. Lache Seastrunk
etc.
(These are not my choices, just an example)

Due to character constraints, I'll have to separate the first round in two separate posts so that will come in the second post underneath this shortly

Also, please post your picks on only ONE board, i.e. LSU Recruiting Board, SEC Recruiting Board, More Sports Board. But feel free to discuss the tourney on any of the boards you see fit

Putting Antonio Allen Against Fournette is going to piss off Verlander so much!

Well he had to go somewhere and I don't think he would have fared well anywhere after the response that video got. To Verlander's credit, about 6 of the videos on the bracket are from him

Allen's video is way better than Fournette's(dime a dozen RB highlight) but he's the LSU golden boy so he's likely going to win the entire thing

Alright, Verlander.

You may have had a case by saying it's arguably better.. but that's just too rich.

Allen will have a short career if he keeps spearing people with the crown of his head.

Its not arguable great RB videos are a dime a dozen there is nothing like Allen's highlight tape. The fact that he'll probable have a short career only further proves my point, you simply don't see hits like those.

That's not a very strong point that you're making.

What I'm saying is that yes, Allen has an outstanding highlight tape... possibly better than Fournette? of course. But easily better? no.

Both of them dominate the opposition, albeit from different positions. Allen has top notch closing speed.. better than I've seen from a safety prospect in a long time. It's pretty obvious that he lays the wood in each hit he makes.. but he needs to start leading with his face instead of the crown of his head.. he's only going to cause injuries to himself.

Fournette showcases that he is a do-it-all back. He's got power, speed, quickness, the ability to catch the football, and remarkable vision. All against 4A and 5A Louisiana competition. There aren't many weaknesses in his game. I know that good RB film is hard to compare, but saying that Allen's film is much better than Fournette's is nothing more than a troll job.

If you are asking who will have the better college career Fournette is a valid answer. What is more entertaining? Allen by a mile

That was the best part looking for more videos to fill in because I found high school videos of players I didn't know were out there, like his. Still by far my favorite safety of all-time
