Before redistricting and Jackson and Clinton HS combining, we played against him. As a freshman QB, he destroyed us. We could not tackle him. After the game, I happened to meet his father. From that conversation alone, I can tell you this is not a LC situation, at least not from a family standpoint. They seemed to be a class act. He would be a very good get for us, but the lure of being the 13th Jack LB in this class for the Gumps is a powerful draw.

Sounds to me like he is committing to Bama and he doesn't think that their coaches would like for him to visit LSU after committing to them.

Yea you're right but who in this world is perfect. I know this they don't hype anything they give you what they know and what they hear. They don't hype anything to get you to buy 247.

How many rivals top 100 kids have left the state of Alabama?

How is this anything other than bad for lsu?

Plus Sonny and Shea both feel like it's LSU at this point, and they aren't just guessing - they have contacts at LSU and Bama.

Bama Lock. 2 of the top five recruits in state will commit elsewhere. Just hope this doesn't happen next year with the talent LA will have

He is going to bama. Why would he care what bama thinks if he is going to LSU?

What is Gino's take on this? I trust him after last year's shite.

It'd be very odd of him to commit to Bama and then take an official to LSU...
That's just my opinion

the quote can be read both ways. just as easily could be saying if he was going to bama he wouldnt be taking his visit to lsu because that would piss bama's staff off.

I disagree. If the visit is already scheduled and he insists on committing at the game, then it's not odd.

He was asked, "If he'd really take an official visit to LSU after committing to Bama."
He replied, "Bama probably wouldn't like it if I did."
He still hasn't canceled his official visit to LSU.
People seem to be actively looking for negative news. Nothing here is necessarily positive for LSU, but there's nothing that's negative either.

Does anyone have more from that transcript? People can take any part of a conversation and spin it however they want if no one else knows the context of how or why it was said.
From the comment in this thread, I take it that he is committing to Bama and keep his visit to LSU even though mini me won't like it.

This doesn't sound good at all. He's been to LSU multiple times for games, and he hasn't been to Alabama but what, a time or two? Wasn't his recent visit the first time he's been there? Don't remember, but if it feels like a second home after that then I'm not optimistic.
Hopefully these quotes are Bama spin.
