Just from reading that quote, it could be interpreted that he's saying he'll commit (to some team) on the 4th. When asked if he'd really commit to Bama, then visit LSU afterwards, he says thinks Bama would not like that. The fact he's planning to visit LSU after he commits to a team on the 4th, coupled with his comments, could lead one to believe he knows it's LSU.

Plus Sonny and Shea both feel like it's LSU at this point, and they aren't just guessing - they have contacts at LSU and Bama.

This.

Well, I know that Sonny, Shea and JimmyD all think Beckwith is LSU's AND Bama's sites do NOT have a good feeling about him, so ...

Recruiting message boards always carry ominous feelings (posters) that call themselves "realists"

Yeah. It's amazing how quotes can be interpreted in more ways than one. But, I'm sure writers (as well as the person speaking) do this on purpose.

He was once in the "no way Beckwith comes to LSU" boat. He has changed his stance and I really haven't seen him state anything definitive.

the most i've seen about Beckwith to Bama are a bunch of crybaby recruiting fans who are still insecure from Landon Collins. Same guys who ask every 5 seconds if Rettig and Jennings will de-commit since Gunner Kiehl did.

Name the last really big name LSU recruit who lives near baton rouge and waited till the last minute to commit to LSU. It usually doesn't happen people. If he's waiting this long he's leaving for Bama.

Exactly. Ridiculous that people still get all offended over a kid leaving Louisiana while at the same time, the class is LITTERED with OOS elite prospects.

Forgive me if I don't care if a kid that is going to be a project at LB or DE and was a HS QB most of his career commits elsewhere.

I just don't think he's going to be as good as his rating claims. Kid has to be molded into something and it's going to take him a couple years to do so.

There are better prospects that are already committed. Alot of you just freak out because he's from Louisiana. If the kid lived just over the border in Mississippi, none of you would be flipping out and crying.

Ridiculous.

So many lsu fans are so afraid of anything bama related. id be surprised if some of these people never leave their houses because of fear.

its a little concerning that the two best players from BR the last 2 seasons may end up at Alabama... But I don't think Rettig or Jennings are going to decommit

So what you're basically saying is Collins did it, so Beckwith must be doing the same thing.

East feliciana in Jackson, LA is not even remotely Baton Rouge.
Collins at dutchtown is a valid argument.

Players leave the state all the time. It happens everywhere. Louisiana is no different. We pull kids from oos all the time.

Yeah, and those players will be replaced with someone that wants to be there that is just as talented or more talented/capable. So what's the big deal?
