Not a mock but my idea of how the remaining spots breakdown but no real insight to how the coaches are really feeling.

Not out of the question we take another but I'll stick with 1 for now

We want a FB but I think someone recruited at another position or someone already on the roster will take that spot

We have an offer to Jefferson out and multiple OOS offers and will likely land at least one of those. Any of the LA kids could end up on offense but I think 4 will be in

We seem to want 2 more We'll get at least 1.
Not all of those numbers can be filled. The question is what position or positions are sacrificed? Like I said, it's going to be interesting. DL and DB definitely seem to be the priority spots so they'll likely take a mnimum of 12 spots. Imo this class is all about replenishing the defense. The offensive side is all about depth and the future. On defense we're going to need quite a few in this class to contribute quickly. The stars of the class will be on the defensive side. We're basically done on the offensive side other than Smith. Nothing else over there is a major priority as long as we hold on to the guys we have. I'd like a C in the class but could live without one.

Good stuff. Interesting to see how it breaks down. They'll make room. Stupid SEC rules unilaterally affecting our conference and no others is still ridiculous and stupid. Slive...

I could see us still taking him if he chose to play football or both sports. But who knows what he's going to do. His upside is higher in football, but it's also a lot more work.

If Quinn goes in the first or early 2nd round in MLB it would be hard to turn down that kind of money. I hope we get to see him in purple and gold. Either on the field or diamond, hopefully both.

I'm friends with his dad. He rt needs to talk to this kid more. They see us offer others from that class and are just feeli g a little left out. Quinn prefers football than bb but will do both at Lsu. He's ours to loose but he will enjoy the process and take other visits. In the end he ends up at Lsu unless we really screw it up. Terrific kid, great athlete who will star at next level with big time coaching.

Drjeff, have u watched Melvin jones play live. Also do you know where desean smith is leaning. All I've seen on Quinn, smith and jones are film but I will definitely watch barbe and wm play this coming season

I've been saying it all year...we need 2 LBs in this class despite what we got last year. We needed a true MLB since Granier might not ever play a down at LSU...

Yea jones is definitely a mike. Seems as if all our guys last class were OLBs outside of grainier, who no one really was high on.

rumor has it that his knees are shot and can no longer play football at an SEC level. I've never seen this substantiated by anyone in the media.
