That's a good choice for him!
Jared Sam (PF, 6-9) Scotlandville HS with a good showing this season, don't be suprise If he gets a LSU offer, his scores the ball a lil better than Jones but Jones is a better defender. He could easily be that 3rd or 4th big man signed in the class, I think 6 spots will be open.

I really didn't want to be right but he is the second on my we won't get them list after Kaviar Shepherd that proved to be true. It was pretty obvious that his mother wanted him to go to a "good" academic school which they thought Vanderbilt was.

I can honestly say that I did not plan to have either Jones or Shepherd on my predicted class. Would love to have either, but just had a negative feeling about both.

LSU's basketball program and first-year coach Johnny Jones have added a piece to the future puzzle. LSU got a commitment from Lee College forward Deng Deng on Monday
Lee Junior College sophomore Deng Deng has committed to the Tigers and will be part of the 2013 recruiting class, Lee College associate head coach Marcus King said Monday.
Deng Deng is a 6-foot-8, 215-pound forward who has grown three inches since the start of his senior year at Cottonwood High in Salt Lake City.
A native of Melbourne, Australia, Deng Deng committed to Long Beach State last fall but NCAA Clearinghouse issues prevented him from enrolling at the school.
He spent the second semester of the last academic year at Lee College in Baytown, Texas, and is on track to graduate with a two-year degree after a season with the Rebels. He will have three full seasons of eligibility at LSU.
The Tigers will play the 2012-13 season with 11 scholarship players after losing power forward Calvin Godfrey but added New Orleans native and two-year University of New Orleans starter Marcus Carmouche.

[quote]@ScarboroughMike: #LSU basketball host #Rivals150 forward Jordan Mickey this weekend for official visit. Full story $ LINK ]
After originally saying that he wouldn't take any official visits, because he had already been to all of his finalists unofficially, Jordan Mickey will officially visit LSU this weekend. The only other official they are considering is SMU. Big news.

I doubt Martin has talked much with either of them

Maybe Deng Deng's arrival will give the LSU fan base an answer to the Miss. State cowbell ... the hotel desk bell ... ding ding! for each time he scores.

I just can't wait to hear Borne say Deng Deng SCOOOOOOOOOOOORES!

I wasn't Asking if hes talked to either, although I'm sure hes crossed paths with Mickey on the AAU circuit. I was wondering if we were to get Mickey that would be another post player which Martin plays and how Martin might feel about that. Thanks for the great insight though....
