Thanks Stewie didn't know that.I try to say off the SEC rant so I didn't read those threads.
I still think most of this is sensationalism in reporting by Schad,Evans etc.Every school that has ever been mentioned with Lyles or street agents in the past and recently with Oregon/LSU has always explained the payments made as being for scouting services and that they are legal according to the NCAA.These so called "reporters" are just using anything that's connected to Lyles to drum up something to get people amped up.Unless sombody can provide proof that these kids were pushed towards a certain school then there is nothing to see.I doubt very seriously that oregon and LSU would publicly acknowledge payments to Lyles or his services as being legal if anything illegal could be proven by a paper trail. If the services are legal then the NCAA will have to eat this investigation and make rule changes just like the Cam Newton case. Also you seem to be informed somewhat on these things so I have a question.Exactly how manty schools can lyles be a booster of under NCAA rules.Sriously most boosters are loyal to one particular school. If they want this rule to be taken literally then they need to change the wording of the rule regarding boosters.
Thanks for anything you can tell me.I'm not too concerned about this as far as the school is concerned.Only thing that concerns me is the possibility of Randle being ruled ineligible.

Alabama isn't even among the top 20 of worst offenders.

No, you can only say that Alabama is not amongst those caught the most.

They've been on NCAA probation for the better part of a decade. Auburn's football program hasn't been on probation in 20 years.

I wasn't aware that textbooks and street agents were alike.
