I saw an interview with the little kid, and damn it if I can't remember the kids name, but he's like 12 and is a huge LSU fan and his own YouTube channe, and Deebo came across as a good humble kid.
There are a lot of instances where a kid has a less than desirable upbringing, and the football field is the safe place for them to unleash all of their frustration and anger that has been built up inside them.
To channel that energy into something positive instead of developing a victim mentality is a wonderful thing to behold, and I for one am a fan and hope to see him have all the success in the world.

Maybe the first honest post I have seen about this kid.

Zen,
That is my son, T-Bubba. Xavier is a great kid. I am extremely biased when it concerns Xavier but I am also smart enough to know that LSU coaches would not waste a scholarship on him if they didnt think he was an SEC caliber LB.

That's it, T-Bubba. Great kid you're raising there. I was half asleep when I made that post, rife with spelling and grammatical errors, but the point remains.
You can tell a lot about a person by how they interact with kids, and Xavier won me over during that interview with your son.

Well he actually had 208 tackles, team and coaching seem to be suspect, Atkins is an elite RAW athlete. He is from a small rural program with No facilities, poor funded program. He is the best athlete on his team and sometimes the field. His training is suspect, his diet is Churches FC, Wendy’s, or fast food. Matt House loves this kid and once this kid gets to LSU and is blessed with the Nutrition, Coaching, and Alignment he will be a solid ST player. If he flourishes in this environment the sky is the limit for this kid. I think grades are a question. He probably made his commitment and has mailed it in for the season. The team is horrible and I imagine his attitude reflects this, not a good look I understand but imho, if he makes it to LSU and buys in he’ll be a player. He’s got the tools and CBK will provide the attitude.

The kid had a great season on a poor team. I cant wait to see his growth from now until his senior year and gets to LSU.
Once this kid gets real coaching, nutrition, weight room. This kid will flourish.

Just wish you had started a new thread so we didn't dredge up the assholes.

I'm not hearing very good things about him lately. He needs someone in his life to keep him focused and out of trouble. Not sure we will ever see him in an LSU uniform.

Are you from Jonesboro?

No, but I work with a guy that is pretty close to the program.

I am! And if Shreveport Douche bags like Machopud2020 & BleauxkingdudesnamedFrank, are questioning the kid’s ability or his heart, then it shows why Caddo Parish remains a football joke…

It's not his football ability or heart that's in question it's his ability to stay out of trouble.
I hope he gets it all together because he could be a great player.

So you are saying he needs to be aligned?
