i'm not going to be upset if lache goes somewhere else. We have Michael Ford, i think Ridley will get some time at RB. We seem to have Storm under our control, same with Hilliard and Hill. Don't get me wrong i would love to have the home run threat of Lache in our backfield along with RS running options. But if we don't get him it's not going to kill us. I think missing out on Reed would be much more devastating.

If we don't get Lache, then Christine Michael was a big fail by the LSU staff. It's as simple as that.

None of those guys are speed backs though.

I know some people feel otherwise, but if it wasn't for looking towards Lache this year, I think Michael gets an offer last year. We already have good relationships in east Texas and signing a 5 star from Beaumont would only have helped increase our exposure there.

Yep, it's pretty obvious, but people love to make up stories that Michael was "overrated" or a "headcase" I guess.

We have nothing like Lache. Trovon is good, but we have and will continue to get good receivers. If we had one spot left and it was between Lache and Trovon, I'm taking Lache.

The fans wanted him and ASSumed the coaches was looking pass him for Lache. The coaches just want him, it had nothing to do with this class.

I think he is a great talent, but he will not make or break our program. Auburn needs him much more than we do. I would rather have the three great backs that we could get if we dont get Lache. I know its not for sure, but i just dont think he is gonna be a dominant rb. i think sec defensive ends will cut him off from getting around the edge

Like they did for Harvin? Lache has that type of speed.

If we get Lache this year and not Hilliard next year, is that a fail?

Lache and Hilliard are about as similar as Dwight Howard and Kobe

I actually think Harvin is a good comparison for Lache. I realize Harvin was used more as a WR, but he also played in the backfield quite often. Their speed/size are similar and I think Lache could have the same effect for our team as he did for UF.

Harvin was used as a rb as well. That's my point.

Yeah, He was. I am sayin that Lache would be very dangerous in Florida's offense. He's not going to Florida. Harvin wouldnt have been as good in Auburns offense.Yeah Lache could help ours , but i will take three for the price of one all day. I also dont think he is a between the tackles guy. Between the tackles = Auburn Offense

I see Lache as the guy who will run those options we run with Keiland. Those have been pretty successful sometimes and I think would be greatly improved with Lache. I'd also take 3 for 1, but I'm just not convinced yet that this is the option we face. I'm not sure we can't have all the ones we want yet.

No, big difference. Hilliard will still have an offer next year. If he doesn't come because of Lache, that would be his decision, and maybe he wasn't as guarenteed as some here think. Kind of like fighting for Lache (everybody thought he was a sure thing too) now when Michael was there.
