Starkville slowing Cam Akers down. Maybe 40 yards at the half. He is smaller than I thought. Very quick with pretty good power. More like a Kevin Faulk type runner.
Willie Gay is a big time player. Plays both sides of the ball. Probably close to 100 yards rushing from the QB position. Great speed and runs sideline to sideline very well. Not sure if he is on LSU's board but definitely should be.

Gay is OVing soon but he's Leo Lewis 2.0. Will commit to MSU on NSD. Maybe if MSU fires Mullen he'll give us a look.

Gay is one of the most athletic LBs in the 2017 class. He was supposed to OV at FSU for the Clemson game but he didn't go, plans to use that official for LSU now instead.

Gay is a big time player. Very fast and aggressive. Just ran 60 yards for a TD. Out ran everyone on Clintons defense
Akers ran 60 yards for a TD on the opening possession of the second half. Great speed.

Akers with a big second half. 60+ yard TD with 3:00 left to win it. Akers and Gay will be big pickups for the teams that they pick. Both with around 200 yards rushing. Gay played both sides of the ball and was still running hard in the 4th quarter.

I heard Gay didn't start getting reps on offense until last game. Beast.

Smith County?

Something I'm missing? Both of these players are not from Smith Co.
