LSU won't need a power back with Ford and Pratt on board this year. They're going for the speed guy in Seastrunk.

i thought ford being the speed back is why we're not going after michael

Shiloh Christian if this is the same guy

Little Rock Christian Academy.

Shiloh Christian is in NWA.

Shiloh has a DT/OL that set the 14 and 15 year old world record bench press. Shiloh got killed by bastrop a while back but you guys already know that.

He has better competition then mcfadden had.

I called mcfadden overrated when he was in high school because the lack of competition and now look where mcfadden is.

Its a long way till signing day especially Dyer's signing day (2010). I think watching Arkansas this year may eventually change his mind. But we will see. He was all LSU then strong Ark. lean. He's young and impressionable and its not unreasonable to believe his mind could change again.

No, he's not better than Seastrunk imho. The video you posted does look good, but go back and watch the defenses he's playing against... it looks like random middle schools in Louisiana.

I love how people try to discredit a recruit when he changes his mind on what school he goes to. If Dyer decides to go to LSU all of you people are going to be jumping back on his dick.

I didn't try to discredit anything, I said he's good. But go watch the video that was posted and watch the defenses he's playing against. It looks like random middle schools in Louisiana. If you can't see that, then I'd suggest that you watch more football.

It's an opinion that Seastrunk is better, certainly others share this opinion and it has nothing to do with where he's going to school.

Thats like trying to compare Emmitt Smith and Barry Sanders. Everyone has their preference but you cant go wrong with either. Both will be All-SEC if they stay in our conference. Everyone is intitled to their opinion. Landing just one of them will be a gift.

I agree, and I never said that he wasn't good. I only agreed that the highlight film that was posted looked as if he was playing against some fairly weak competition. It doesn't mean that he isn't going to be good, we've had some good players at LSU that have played against fairly weak competition.

The fact of the matter is: LS seems to be a strong LSU lean and he's going to be our priority. But Dyer too is a complete monster in his own way, just as Seastrunk is. I'm sure the coaches haven't given up on Dyer yet and a talent of his caliber can always be used. If he were to change his mind and open up to schools other than arkansas, we would be all over him, just not as much as seastrunk

It's hard to tell if he is a monster, or he is very good and just playing vs very poor competition. Either way, I would take him. But I still think he is going to end up at Arky. Though I would stay as far away from that program as possible.

I would say Dyer has proven his worth. He did get National Sophmore Player of Year. +1 for him there. Then again I heard LS ran a hand timed 4.1-4.2 40 at the LSU camp. +1 for him. (Can you imagine RS and LS running the Option Read, sweet Jesus). But Ive seen Dyer's film and the kid is very quick and elusive as well. I would say competition is better in TX than Arkansas anyday. Both players are phenoms, its a hard comparison.
