I think Collins will make for a serviceable QB should Nuss go down.

I think Collins will make an excellent QB if he continues to develop. Problem is it likely is not at LSU. Marcus Randle coached him well in HS and he has very good skills already but if he makes a jump in development he will be really good. The stars (pardon the pun) are just not in alignment for him at LSU but stranger things have happened.

Agree! The kid is a baller! Great attitude and work ethic! High motor and his eyes are always down field! He’s had some accuracy issues recently, but that can be fixed. The kid makes Mahomes type plays sometimes. Yes, a lot on this board are over looking him because of his age.

Just worried he messed up by reclassifying. He is gonna be what 16-17 when he gets to campus? Not sure what his plan is there. He is gonna need 2 years minimum of weight room/nutrition.

Has to be part of his plan. Get an extra year of college level weights and development ahead of all his peers. Basically sacrificing a redshirt year for a significant head start on the class of 2025 players.

Yes. At one point, he was the #1 QB in his class.

Link? Wasn't he originally a 3 star in his first ranking and eventually became a 4?

He'll need 2 years, but him vs Underwood in 2026 is going to be an elite competition if we get him.

This is one quarterback I don’t want us to lose on. He’s young but has the maturity, he’s physically gifted and has the work ethic to learn. Don’t shite on him cause he will surprise us all when his time comes.

Exactly, they are worried about some damn rankings or worried about someone that's not here and most likely not ever coming here!
