Our 3 high school recruits (Keys, Cobbins and Atkins and a 4th Hybrid if Singleton puts on 20 lbs.) are solid to go with starters Penn, Whit Weeks and Perkins Jr.

I think they’ll look for one but be very selective there. Pass rush/secondary are more of the concerns. I actually like the LB depth chart, Weeks is set up to have a huge year next year

Oh well, I'll add that I agree with you 100% that we could use a stud LB from the portal, but I was referencing how Omar did not pan out, so I thought we could skip that and worry about DL interior and CB. But hell yea we cold use a stud LB in case someone gets hurt or hits the portal.

I dont think there is a good one yet...we need a couple that are good and experienced.

I would get an experienced quality guy there if you can. You lack experienced inside depth - granted I don’t know the plan with Perkins. Not the coach but Penn would be the third guy there inside as a rotational piece.

I doubt it, we are limited on how many new comers we can take and there are bigger needs than lb. I think someone posted we are at 90 scholly's if you subtract everyone leaving plus all the high schools recruits coming in. We will have to see who all is transferring from us and then we will get a better understanding on how many portal guys we can take but I doubt its many.

I do agree spots will be much, much tighter this year.
They need to hit on almost all portal takes on the defensive side imo.

So what is Singleton going to be playing if not LB? Is he projected as a S or some type of Hybrid? All the sites have him listed as a LB
