Bama is getting the better QB this cycle in Louisiana, imo. I suppose with Texas they probably figure even if he didn't pan out he still has the Mannings around the university which couldn't hurt public image especially. There's way too much hype for this guy. It's going to be hard to imagine seeing him live up to it.

Texas is coming back to power. It’s only a matter of time. Their OL and DL recruiting must improve. But the new pay to play system will turn that around fast.

He'll get more NIL $ back in his pocket with no state income tax, play with his best friend from high school, be the king of a great city, have a couple years to adjust before entering the SEC.
