anyone know how the portal rules work? (OL related)

if Im remembering this right Cole Tracy never contacted us, O went after him, the offer was out of nowhere. Is that because Assumption is DII or could O target some Offensive line guys who might want out of P5 teams?

You're not supposed to contact players until they enter the portal, but there are ways around that.
Contact their high school coach, their summer league coach, their personal trainer, etc. Get the word to them and have them contact you.

I guess maybe the rules are diff with D1 to D2.
