Adoree knows we have two freshman lock down corners, we offered gage (I think he is Adoree's back up). Leaving him with only some slot reciever opportunities in year 1 along with some punt/kick return...my sense is that USC is telling he starts on D immediately and he will play slot and kick/punt return duties...
Really want him but do not think we get him because of immediate playing opportunity at SC -- the kid is good and will get the NFL with or without DBU...not mad...just trying to be objective

Gage does not have a commitable offer. jimmy admitted that in his chat on yesterday. You can go read it. Jimmy went on to say he never said Gage's offer was commitable. I do think jimmy has misled folks on this kid. With that being said Lsu will not offer gage until they know for sure they won't get adoree or some last minute recruits they are after. That's just the truth of the matter. Trust me if gage had been offered he would have committed by now. It's just still a wait and see process for him

I still feel good about LSU's chances. I don't see him going to Florida. I agree that the decision is between staying close to home or playing in the SEC, which means that it is a choice between USC or LSU.

We have the #1 player in the country already committed to us and he happens to be a CB. With that said I think offense is an intriguing aspect of his interest in LSU. We have a pro offensive coordinator that could find ways to make it work.
USC is offering the same and Florida I imagine. Still, I think we have by far the best staff of anyone on that list.

Our coaches are visiting him today I think. If gage ever gets a commitable offer that means we missed out on adoree. I think after the in home visit the action from our coaches this week will indicate our chances with adoree - IMO

We have 2 Sophomore corners ;), and besides we have a lot of room for him on offense, which he wants to play. Not to mention he could come be our return man day 1.

Meh, our coaches could feel good about Adoree and we still miss on him. We could be way behind for all we know. He could just give them an inkling of hope and they'll believe they can convince him. They kinda have to think that way to be successful at recruiting. Unless Adoree tells them no way, they'll take it down to NSD. Might as well at this point.
I'm thinking this goes down to the wire, then Gage gets his offer on or after NSD depending on how it shakes out.

If Adoree comes to LSU you put him on the field!! you play 5 DBs as much as possible. He would be perfect as a blitzer off the edge, play nickel coverage, dominate on special teams and 2 snaps of wr reverses a game. If we get him and don't make this happen then Cam Cameron and Chief are messing up. Dude is Legit. #AJ

exactly right. this kid is not as much of a long shot as some think. he is very smart and does his homework on how he'll fit in with certain programs. he is making a business decision that's why i think it's florida or lsu in the end. floria's men track team is currently ranked 2nd in the country while their football team is building things up.. we shall see.. hope it's lsu in the end

I was actually thinking about the 4-3 earlier and how we can play it into our strength on defense. Let's face it, we are going to be stacked at DB the next 3-4 years.
