Dunn is at North Desoto KILLING it. Dude went 10-0 with a freshman qb, and lost the state championship game by 3 , and that qb had 3 picks lol. Louie Cook won a title at Crowley before he went back to coach college. He literally won the same rates for both.

I am so confused about you bumping this 3 year old thread

Information is incorrect, N. Desoto didn’t go 10-0. They lost to Northwood…..again in the last regular season game.

Dennis Dunn is at North DeSoto. They lost to Lutcher last year in the championship game.

"When you call the upset of a number 4 seed by a No. 29, let me know."

- Is it just me, or does this post scream pretentious douche bag to anyone else? I mean cool.. you cover a bunch of HS games and picked an upset.. am I supposed to be impressed and bow down to you?

I hear all the whining from different schools about reclassifying, losing coaches, recruiting players, and yet nobody mentions the success stories. Im talking about a local (N.O.) school that plays "up" all year long to make their team better for the playoffs. They typically lose students to teams that hustle athletes to bolster their roster, yet, they continue to win.
How about back to back to back to back. Repeat champions in football and baseball, that's right, the 2 sport champions, St. Charles Comets. They get no mention or respect, but all they do is win! Go Comets.

Simple solution. Play one more game. Keep it as it is with Select/Non-select. Just let the winners of those brackets play each other for the real Championship. If you’re not the best non-select you can’t bitch about not being in the big game. If you are the best non-select team, you can beat the best Select team. Would be an exciting game, create a friendly rivalry.

Thoughts?

I’ve always been torn on the whole split situation. I feel like it was the right move, but executed wrong. Admittedly, I don’t have all the answers, but something needed to be done

Like someone said earlier. School A, with an enrollment of 500 competing against another school with the same enrollment always looks fair on paper, but if school A can only pull players from their parish, yet school B can pull players from ANYWHERE, it’s really not fair

Really? Pay, resources and facilities have a lot to do with it. Character has a lot to do with it. You get most of that in privates schools. Plus public school are loaded down with lots of red tape. You want something In private schools just go to right booster and you get it.
