Rivals mod spoke with him and he thinks Oregon is his best shot at early playing time and that is his biggest motivation. We are razor thin there and the door is wide open for him to split snaps at NT.
He also tweeted out Win The Day after Pellum did his last in-home. Rika Levi, a JUCO NT, dropped his visit with us 2 hours later. There is speculation that Oregon is full at NT because we wanted two and Trey was just visited by our DC and the whole gang outside of DC was headed to Hawaii to meet with Mafileo, the mystery NT. Admittedly, it's connecting dots between sparse information.

One of the mods talked with Trey (today). It's going to be an Oregon slant but this will come down to the wire. I thought Oregon was screwed and he was LSU's to lose but I am not sure anymore.
ETA: we are razor thin at NT. If playing time is what he wants, it's there for the taking as soon as he plants foot on campus.

Yeah, 24/7 has him visiting the Bucknuts on his page but he did re-appear on the LSU page as a 1-31-14 visitor. Saw that then the Zhamal Thomas enrollment and figured 24/7 is messing up.
