I found a site with football depth charts; although, the depth chart is not comprehensive.
It seems to be a "draft scouting service" but there is no legend to explain colors. Does anyone know what the colors mean?
OurLads
For example most links are blue:
2 Jefferson, Justin JR/2 is green
10 Sullivan, Stephen SR/3 is black
9 Burrow, Joe RS SR/TR/1 is green
79 Cushenberry III, Lloyd RS JR/2 is blue
90 Lawrence, Rashard SR/3 is red
91 Fehoko, Breiden SR/TR/1 is black
1 Fulton, Kristian SR/2 is purple
7 Delpit, Grant JR/2 is purple

It can not be draft eligible, because of Cushenberry.
maybe quality of draft pick? Certainly Jefferson and Burrow are the two "quality" draft picks on offense.

the blue links are late rounds, either
purple is early rounds but underclassmen
green is early rounds, upperclassmen
red is middle rounds, either
black is likely UDFA but make through cuts

yes, and a number of other RS Soph are blue. I wonder if this service just does not recognize Cush as a likely draft pick if he comes out. I know we value him, but I am not sure about others.
A CBS top 50 list had only Fulton, Delpit, and Divinity on the list. Clearly out of date on Burrow. I searched the mid-season lists I could find. (mostly All-American rather than SEC) I found a lot of Burrow, Jefferson, Delphit, and Stingley. I did not see Cush anywhere. Maybe, he will come back for his senior season.

The guy on tigerdroppings that made the picture/lineup depth chart is the best.

I think it showed sillouetes of players in helmets.

Thanks very much for the information ;-)
I will have to check back on this list later in the year.

Do you know of a site for a comprehensive depth chart? I tried to make one from the roster on LSUSports.net, but I have trouble determining the scholarship status for the players not on first two teams. For example, I know a walk-on center got a scholarship this year, but google was not helpful ;-)

eh, you're going to run into one of two problems...

1. frequency of updates. Sites like Our Lads don't update them very often.

2. getting past the playing depth. The most updated charts are the game releases. But not every player is on the traveling team, they won't be listed. The just don't go much past 'expected to play'.

I don't know of a roster, publicly available, that has updated (within the month?) scholarship info. If anybody does it will be Indiana Tiger... he's a scholarship/rules guru.

The C you are referring to is Michael "Bus Driver" Smith.

Found the legend on the main menu.

OP.

I know this is not what you are looking for.

But the ranter that made this needs applause.
If you can update (cole Smith etc) it the way you want, it would be great.

It’s the best template I’ve seen and the best way to figure out where 2020 recruits will fit in.
As far as relying on other sites to color code, they can’t do it for 115 teams.

I keep a depth chart updated ad nauseum and put a players name only on one position, once to give you a numbers aspect.

Dandy don has one too but he will repeat names often (like having Chasen at starter on left guard but backup at center). I like only having all 85 names appear once to show actual roster depth.

If you choose to use that template, please post it and ignore the noise when you trigger someone.
