I saw a 247 VIP article that mentioned he's not impressed with Bama anymore. Maybe he de-commits.

Probably means he knows that McKinley Jackson is headed there and he’s already behind the 14 other DL studs already there.

Having said that, he’s welcome here!

You'd have to be crazy to want to go to Bama this cycle in dline. They just signed 6 guys

His actual quote was something along the lines of, nothing on campus impresses him and something about the coaching changes and only knowing Saban. Sounds like a kid confused with his relationship and wanting to date a little bit. Likely ends up back at home after enjoying a little "me" time.

Try our hand if it were uo to me. If he doesnt work at NT hes got a great frame for the OL.

not if you consider they play for championships EVERY YEAR, and they put a lot of guys in the NFL at that position too....

depth never seems to be an obstacle when landing recruits over there...

All is correct. Same way it worked for OSU and UF under Meyer, old Miami teams, USC under Carroll, Clemson now, UGA now and even us when we had great DLs. If you're winning and putting kids in the NFL kids forget about depth even when it's repeated to them constantly by opposing coaches. Also gives some insight into just how good the elite of elite recruiters.

Jayson asked me to reach out to LSU because he was interested.

LSU scheduled a call with Jayson and O. O no showed. Another Coach called and said O couldn’t make it.

Then I personally brought Jayson to BR to visit, per LSU request. His dad and mom made the trip to visit campus and get to know staff. They came down a few hours after us.

We showed up. Someone dropped the ball...visit was a disaster.

One coach that has been with LSU recruiting since Saban was the only saving grace to the visit. Personally spent time with Jayson and his fam. Did a great job as usual. Everyone else...disaster.

Jayson left the door open still...was told he could visit for the Bama game this past season...week of game was told he couldn’t Bc he was committed to Bama...Jayson finally crossed LSU off list.

Anyone trying to convince him to play OL? Kid is huge, not sure about his fit especially at NT.
