I would say yes. We don’t really know what we have with those players. Add in attrition always take the best available.

I’ll take a stab:
“Solomon recently visited LSU and had a great time with the staff and players. “I feel at home here and really have a good relationship with Coach Davis”. Solomon remains committed to FSU but has plans to visit Florida before signing day. “I could see myself playing for any of these schools. For me, it will come down to where I’m most comfortable and who makes me a priority”, said Solomon.
At this time, we think Solomon remains committed with FSU through early signing day, but won’t be surprised if he chooses LSU or Florida”

Lance Heard.

Would be nice to have him but honestly would be nicer to spend on a more proven guy from the portal. LSU’s got a lot of younger talent on roster now. Would love to not start 4 first time starters next year (not including Mubenga if he wins a guard position)

I definitely hear this argument and part of me feels the same way but at some point you have to start playing these guys that you recruit over guys from the portal with experience. They don’t want to wait till year 3 to start getting PT.

Yea agreed. Mainly just hoping they can find a center either through Echols or portal. The center is the lynchpin to the line. You can have “future” NFL talent at bookend tackles but if your interior sucks, you get games like AnM second half, Florida and Bama.
Cushenberry was the last boss lsu had at C. Even someone without the physical talent can be good enough to win if he has the smarts to line everyone up (Turner last year)

IMO Turner last year got his shite pushed in more often than not.
