McCardell and Cameron would be great selling points to continue moving Offensive players to the NFL....

It has potential.

I'd be 100% on board with McCardell being the new WR coach. With the positives of:

-NFL Experience playing and coaching
-Reportedly has great character
-Good recruiter
-Ties to the Houston area plus the mid-atlantic region (which isn't very deep talent wise at all, but always seems to put out a few elite prospects each year)
-Connections with Cam
-Did good work developing Stefon Diggs despite injuries, UMD's top receiver, who probably could've been an early round pick if he came back for his senior year
-Still pretty young for a coach and brings a lot of energy.

I'm down

Would have liked a TX recruiter but I have faith in O, Steele, and Frank.

Don't really need a TX recruiter that much. It's roughly the same distance (to Houston) from a northern LA city.

as is/was Patterson, I thought. Isn't that just another way of keeping people on the payroll, just can't actually coach?

Basically, but allegedly Ole Miss has offered a future on-field gig.
