Any info on DL McKinley Jackson

This DL from Lucedale, Miss. needs to be a top priority. He was committed to us for a short period, but then re-opened his recruiting back up. This guy is a high motor guy that is nasty in the trenches. I'm hearing he may have an uncle that is an assistant on another SEC team, so I'm not sure how that will play out. He's a difference maker and could challenge for some serious playing time as a freshman. Anyone hearing anything about his recruitment?

Understanding he is not a Louisiana product, but taking it a step further, he will not sign during the December period, suddenly rekindle interest in LSU, who makes a big push right before signing day, only to have him commit to the bad guys. Isn’t that how it works.

i think the fact that we accepted the Berry kid from Cali, who's currently a 3 star, vs. Jackson, as a 5 star, should tell you where we stand with him....

it's a long time till Signing Day. He was once committed to LSU, so he must have some feeling for LSU. We probably got as good a shot as anyone at this point.
