Do you guys think that the UA and the Army game will yield only our top targets? Or do you guys think that there will be a surprise commitment?

You never know what will happen when all the dominoes start falling in a positive way. I think it will be just who we think, but all those kids get together and get fired up.

If you mean a supruse at the all star games then it depends on whether Jamal Adams is a suprise to you or not. Outside of him I see no suprises at those games unless Kenny Young decides to go ahead and get his out of the way.

As for now to signing day, I'd expect a suprise or 2 to fill out the class. January is crazy time in recruiting

I wouldn't expect any surprise commitments during the actual games. But it seems we always get one surprise on or near signing day.

There's always a surprise commitment every year. (ex. Tashawn Bower, last year)

If we get the targets on the board that we have been pushing for then no. Reason is if they all sign will be numbers game and we don't have surplus of available slots.

I think the game commitments will be as expected.

Any surprises will come later.

Starting to get good feelings about Lorenzo Carter.

Still feel we have a chance with Adoree Jackson.

Either of both of those would actually fill the bill quite nicely.

Malik McDowell is another possibility here.

As long as we get LF, Noil, Dupree and the offensive guys already committed - I'm happy with all the other surprises/late gets being defensive.

Heck, Kenny Young could be another guy to commit at the games - we seem to have closed strongly with him.

Good question. I suggest you add to the thread title. Maybe something like "- any all star game surprises?"

I said I think we do.

These kids will be in each other's ear the whole time.
Bond's will be made that may pay dividends.

We will see.

Anything extra will be gravy

Any chance one of the assumed "LSU commits" surprises the other way and commits to somewhere else? Who would most likely fall into this categorey, or does LSU go 100% on getting who they targeted (and/or expect to get).

January will be a fun month for us especially after we get Willis, Adams, speedy, LF, and tony brown on board next week. The momentum will be amazing

not much room left. 16 commits, add in LF, brown, willis, speedy, dupre, adams, and thats 22. add ol and young and only 1 spot left. add in a decommit or two and still only 2-3 spots. those spots are reserved for 5* caliber guys. carter, hootie, mcdowell, adoree etc.

no all star game surprise commits.

I haven't seen anything to suggest we're not signing 27. I don't believe Gamble would have a committable offer if we were only signing 25, because, honestly, a KO specialist who might develop into a long FG kicker at some point is a luxury.
