That isn't a very big difference at all

The BIG difference is that Bama can recruit outside the borders of Alabama. 21 of their recruits are from out of state. 17 out of state from last year.

Seems like they are not quick to hand out schollies to just in state kids.

not talking them down just acknowledging bama has a solid class and saban is starting to pick a top guy or two out of the State when it was totally locked down since 2001.

The LC situation is unfortunate especially because it was Saban who got him but we have lost too guy in the state already recently and it really hasn't affected us too much. It only becomes a problem is if one coach like Saban continues to pull the top guy out of the state.

Lsu recruits Texas very well. Bama has to try harder out of state because they are battling another SEC team in state. Also, Louisiana talent is better IMO, so that is why lsu has a heavy interest in state first talent. But you will see with the new coach on staff that lsu has plans to hit Texas harder than ever.

Craig Loston will get his chance this year. Nothing wrong with waiting your turn. Joe Barksdale wasn't a but so I don't know why he was thrown in the post after yours. We've had our fair share of really good five stars too. Some bust just like any other star, whether it be three or four.

Star system is over rated

Morris Claiborn was a 3 star athlete out of high school and he will probably be a top 5 pick in the NFL draft. So I tend to agree with you.

early enrollments don't count for this year's class. they landed LC among others and Saban develops talent better than LSU's staff.

lmao...Claibornes 3 star arse will get drafted above Kirkpatriks' 5 star arse. give me a break with this crap

not just Alabama. Auburn and Tennessee have been coming into Louisiana and taking our top players the last few years also.

at least they're leaving us the scraps though, right?
