I know he is verbally committed to Tenn. but is he solid to them are was this just a matter of being caught up in the process early. Or does he just not want to come to LSU?

High schooler looking for the excitement/attention. Probably pretty cool to be able to say you are commmitted to an SEC school while still in high school.
Not sure if this is the case with Johnson, but I know it is with a lot of the ones who commit early.

you never know for 100% sure that another offer will come. make sure they have a chance to go to college.

The Frank Wilson factor. It will be hard to pull good talent from OPW with Wilson at Tennesee.

Is there anything other than 1) He is from LA 2) He is a DT and 3) He is a DT from LA, so he has to be coming to LSU, that makes people believe that he isn't solid to TN?

Here is some info of Anthony Johnson when he first committed. He is a 2011 commit so still a long time before he signs with any team.
