I watched as many plays as I could stand (3 or 4, I really don't enjoy watching HS football). He did one thing I've never seen Jefferson do: he hit WRs in stride.

let me spoil it for you: he has a kinda weird motion, lobs up a few deep balls and avoids the rush in slow motion ala JJ and JR

Are you really already dogging this kid and calling him Jefferson?

they dont? Right down to the slightly above average mobility.
he had a torn ligament his junior year. I am anxious to see how he performs as a senior

you don't think the coaches knew months ago that liggins would have trouble qualifying?

I'm certain they knew his academic situation. But they wouldn't have signed him if the risk was significant. They're expecting him to make it and looking to sign two this year.

It basically seems like they never want to be in a situation like they found themselves in when Perilloux Perilloux'd.

Same goes for Rettig. I want to see how they both handle the senior season.

Also, Jennings does a solid job of keeping his eyes downfield when out of the pocket.

Exactly. 6 sounds like a lot, most teams probably have 4 or 5. But instead of only having 2 (relatively) viable options, we can have a better chance at success at that position.

Also, they'll actually be getting coaching since we no longer have Crowton.

If you guys think there will be 6 QBs on the roster the ext couple orbiters, you obviously haven't web paying attention how college football attrition works.

Don't be dumb.

I definitely don't think there will be. I'm just trying not to speculate on specific player attrition, and trying to appear as though I don't agree with processing players.

Truth is, if we recruited like this every year, we wouldn't have been in the QB situation we were this past year because someone would have left.

That's why I named the award for worst 4 year starting QB after Reggie Ball. Of course, I only listed other nominees in this thread.

My guess would be randall changes positions, liggins goes juco, mett posibly leaves and there is a battle for the 2 incoming qb's. Under that scenario you would have

Met
Rivers
Rettig/ jenings
