I know this a Bama biased article,

yes it is, and this is the part that chapped me the most:

"It's not easy to yank a state's top recruit out of state. But Southern Cal's Pete Carroll did it by plucking Joe McKnight out of River Ridge, La.

"Coach Saban has done it and he's probably going to continue to do it some," Bradshaw said. "He had our players when he was at LSU. When he walks through the door, they all know who he is.

WHAT exactly has Saban done? Is he saying that Saban has "yanked" recruits OUT of Louisiana to the UofGumps? Or that he pulled from OTHER states TO Louisiana when he was in Baton Rouge?

This article gets under my skin a lot more than the recruiting of RR does in any way!

It's just another SabanCircleJerk call to arms, IMO.

friggin B'ham news

What does it matter what he meant. Whether you all like to admit it or not, he's done BOTH

You don't know very much Busta. Do your research before posting something you know nothing about. Better yet, why don't you go back to your own board.

I know that LSU fans like to pretend that Robby was never offered when he was. And Lester tried to save face with Davis by pulling his scholly for looking at Bama, when he was coming to Bama anyway. Its amazing how defensive you guys get about the matter, whats even more amazing is that most of you convince yourselves that these guys weren't wanted at all. Its not that big a deal, some get away.

f Randle goes to Bama he will be criticized. And for good reason. If he chooses to go to LSU's #1 rival, how can you expect LSU fans to be accepting of this? He immediately becomes the enemy by definition. It is now impossible to support him, impossible to root for him, impossible to hope that he does well. Now, you have to hope for his failure, and in fact hope to be a major part in his failure. It's the nature of a rivalry.

As much junk as i talk to the bama natives at work, it would be impossible for me to support randle succeeding at bama. It's like watching your best friend date your girlfriend, you want to be like i'm over it, but everytime you see him you want to punch him in the mouth.
