For one we've played them more than anybody, two the W-L record is pretty even, three Bear hated them. And there is a lot more, here's some links.

Didn't feel like typing a whole lot. When there's a book written about the LSU/Bama rivalry and it's called something on the lines of Third Saturday in October or Iron Bowl. Then maybe it will join those ranks.

I have to agree with another poster on your comments here. They do seem very uninformed and call into question your ability to judge anything personnel related.

Is your running total on Miles' record overloading your cognitive processes?

Yeah, you did. You adamantly said that he would choose the school based on who recruited him the hardest.

so that equals the worst school?

there is balance there... a school like Bama would not be wasting time and resources recruiting a player who had little to no interest in them... RR has shown extreme interest and Bama/Saban has likewise done an outstanding job at going after him

No, it says absolutely nothing about who is the best school, and probably only a very little about who he will choose. It's probably one factor out of 10.

You asking someone who is never wrong and knows more than both of us combined. He is arguing not over your opinion but over the actual comment posted in an article. If you cant convince him that the article said that you will never convince him of anything.
I've argued with moneyg before, theres no winning.
Its like a rash you put ointment on and hope it goes away....

You and I argued back when you were bashing Paul Mainieri. Since then, you seem to have become a much better poster. We'll see how you do once baseball starts.

And, I don't doubt that the quote was accurate. I question the conclusion that Randle is going to choose his school based solely on who recruits him the hardest.

A kid who is having problems making a decision isn't just sitting there waiting for a school to recruit him harder than the others. He's weighing all of the variables that determine which would be best for his future.

Go ahead and disagree with that if you want.

Please find a single post where i bashed Mainieri. I have been solidly behind the baseball team when most people werent throughout the season. I even predicted the comeback they would make and have the posts to prove it. Maybe you are finally wrong about something...I assure you if i ever said 1 ill word about our baseball program there are 50 positive posts i made about it......

And I never disagreed with your logic on the comment, just that comment existed FWIW....

I think he could be setting it up to pick Bama... if he says he is going to choose the school that recruits him the hardest, then comes back weeks later and says that Bama is recruiting him the hardest it makes it easier to choose Bama in the end no matter what his real criteria is

I do think the Tide is where he is leaning right now by listening to him and reading his comments along the process... just my opinion of course and I hope I am wrong in the end

Re: WR Rueben Randle Update (1/11)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Yeah, the LSU fans are going nuts discussing this article. Seven pages deep on one forum already. Well i don't know how much we can talk from it for sure, but if they are hating the recruiting as much as they say I think that says we're definitely still in contentention. Otherwise I think the kid would commit and get it over with. Good for him for taking his time and not letting "outside influences" get to him, I'm sure it's got to be extremely tough.

You are probably right. I got into some pretty heated arguments during baseball season. I just assumed that's where your negative opinion was formed.
