I stated this in another thread, but congratulations to Dylan and the entire Moses family. The Moses family is the type of family every family every American family should strive to become.
If my son or daughter or grand child was the #1 at anything in the entire country, I would be on my rooftop shouting for the entire world to hear.

not when everyone on earth thinks/knows it. its not that much different.
This announement just cut through the onion.
Hey, put on your tiara and try to get excited.

I think you're wrong. Having the #1 Overall player in the country already committed and recruiting for us before his Soph year is huge for LSU

You two can keep throwing a hissy fit, or realize there's about to be a Clowney-esque media circus around this kid, and LSU will be plastered all over it. This was the official first step of that. I swear some of you people would cry if you won the lottery because you had to pay the taxes.

Reason it is atomic is because it's his son so I can see him being extremely proud. If it was any other poster calling it an atomic boom then I'd probably call this a little overblown. Either way, amazing he's already a 99. That's fricking ridiculous.

I think this is huge. Like someone previously said, other kids are drawn to the number 1 player in the nation. The supposed '17 dream team excites me as well. Getting the commitment from the number one player in the nation is huge, having him committed this early is even bigger. I wish Leonard had committed earlier for this reason. Not saying out class would have been different, but it def doesn't hurt. Will have years to put in work and recruit other guys as he is already doing. Future looks bright for the us. Congrats to the Moses family!

Congrats to the Moses family! Great news!

I learned a couple things today:
The regulars on the RB predicted this is what the boom would be; they know more than most of us.
When it comes to the RB it's better to be Cooper than Peyton. (If you don't have a sense of humor and fun, this might not be the place for you.

I agree. I think it's huge news. I do feel that LSU can't let the foot off the gas though. There is a whole lotta recruiting left and this guy will need to be recruited until signing day.

has there ever been 2 #1 prospects of different classes (of course) gone to the same school in modern recruiting history?

At his "current" playing level, how would he be ranked in the class of 2015 & 2016? (top 20?...top 10?...top 5?...#1...etc.)
This must be what it was like for Shaq in high school.
