You're speaking on a macro level. Recruiting is done on a micro level. Every kid is different. And if A&M is playing LSU every year it raises awareness of our program and what it has to offer to Louisiana kids. We will win a head2head occasionally if we were in the SEC. LSU would win most but not all.

In the past,it's meant probation and near death penalty for the Aggies.

Maxi, we had Fran. It was a rough 7 years. That's not our history as a program. Don't be so shortsighted.

A&M was a very good program from the mid 70's until about 2000. We have many more advantages now than we did then. We'll be back to a Top 15 program. Mike Slive recognizes

that's not my decision.

They make up 5% of the student body but get 80% of the media attention at games.

I don't mind it though. While I wasn't in the corps I do think they are necessary to preserve the culture that makes A&M unique

Are you talking about Sidelines that aired in 2001? I can't even remember that show other than they actually followed more Blinn students than Aggies. I guess those dummies are better on film. It'd be like having the show about LSU and filming BRCC students

Man, I swear you'd think the Aggies won the cotton bowl with the way this guy has been talking over the last few weeks.

I'm amazed at the shite I've been reading from this guy.

No, pretty certain we are all aware that or lack of depth and overall team speed was exposed in the CB, I mean we did make one of the worst QB’s in the SEC/Country look like Joe Namath. But like Kat said, please feel free to keep living on the CB, I know I would if we were pre-season #1-2.

Living on the Cotton bowl?

Dude we are 1 of 2 schools with 2 crystal footballs! We have the best home winning percentage of any school in our conference over the last 10 years. We have won 11 games or more 4 of the last 6 years......

The cotton bowl was just an aberration for A&M to come to the realization that 1) you aren't even close to SEC caliber 2) be careful what you wish for.

Getting back to the original question - as of today Alonzo does not have a commitable offer to A&M. Could change but I don't really see us taking any more WR's in this class. 1 CB, 1 DT, 1 Joker & 1 ILB are the most likely positions to finish off the class.

When A&M moves to the SEC is it going to piss off Arkansas

Nope, we'll just get a good conference win instead of a OOC win.

Alonzo Moore loves LSU, has seven credible offers on the table, including Nebraska, but has not received an offer from LSU. I think he would say "Yes" before a recruiter from LSU even finished their sentence. Why LSU wouldn't want a 6' 2" receiver with good hands, who runs the 40 in 4.4, consistently eludes tacklers and who high jumps 6' 10" is beyond me.

This is his problem. We already have 3 6' 1" or 6' 2" guys commited for this year. If we take another one, its gonna be a taller guy

According to the Winnfield coaches, Stud, Gonzales and Cooper want Alonzo real bad, but the Louisiana offers usually hinge on Frank Wilson. Apparently Stud make the comment at one of the last coach's meetings that "we are gonna regret it if we don't offer Alonzo Moore."

Us having 25 spots now gives us a little more flexibility to offer a guy like Moore who could show the coaches his senior season that he is a cant miss guy. Maybe he will do it

Hope so but as an LSU fan I would also like us to get a WR in 6 ft 4-5" range as well. Benjamin would have been nice if he had the grades and if he isnt set on playing bball in college.
