Seeing a bunch of “decommitments” from one game to the other. It’s the middle of summer and slow on recruiting so I will ask. What makes one all star game better/more important then the other? Does it change year to year in terms of which is the cool game?

The under armour game seems to be the "cooler" game. The uniforms and gear are more geared towards teenagers. Both games are very fun to watch in my opinion.

Both the Army and UA games are badass. IMO the UA game typically has more of the bigger names in it though.

Seems we're seeing a switch the Army bowl over the past two years. I guess the Army bowl is offering some better incentives now.

I would say location plays a role too. Could be preference of San Antonio (Army) or Orlando (UA) or proximity to home for some kids.

I think 247 is involved in the All American game in San Antonio. That is why you see people switching to it. They want the opportunity to get that rankings bump.

The UA game may seem more flashy but the recruits know for business decisions it's better to go play in the All-American Bowl. The viewership is much larger than the UA Game. Which in turn means more exposure. Plus I believe it is the more established all-american game among the two.

I believe it is. Plus you have different organizations pushing one or the other. 247, rivals, FBU, sailor/Rubio camps, etc etc etc

Thought I heard it was being renegotiated during the game last year, but it doesn’t appear that the partnership continued.

In years past I would have gone with the Under Armour game until maybe last year. We’re starting to see a shift I see the Army one being better this year.
